The JACS TOC featuring your review?
Yes, that is now possible: your JACS paper review from your blog in the TOC (and most other journals):
Noel adapted a Greasemonkey script by Pedro that retrieves blog items that discuss the item from Chemical blogspace and inserts them in the TOC. If you hover over the Cb icon, the comments will pop up (Noel, the bubble is a bit to comic for my taste):
The details on this and other chemical user scripts can be found here. Oh, just to make sure for those who do not yet know how this works: the script modifies the TOC only locally. That is, only browsers that have the userscript installed will see the pimped TOC.

Comment regarding bubble noted. I will make a list of suggested modifications and incorporate them all at some point. I think it may be possible to allow the user to configure the script by adding items to the greasemonkey submenu (under Tools). Possible options are 'serious' popup vs. 'bubble', and postgenomic *and* chemical blogspace, or just one or the other.
Hi Noel, that would be great. Combining comments from both websites is an excellent idea too! I will pick this up with Euan, or are you in contact with him already?
I will also work on a similar thing for molecules, based on InChI, and will have to write the server side first. Planned for next week.
Oh, BTW. We demoed these things among a few publishers. I personally spoke with people from the ACS and Chemistry Central. Both were rather interested in these new technologies :)
It would be great if the publishers put this server side or at least promote the tool for anyone interested. This would increase a lot the visibility of Science blogs and get more people to participate.
I have been in touch with Euan regarding extending the API to allow interaction with ScienceDirect/Elsevier TOC (which don't have a DOI on the TOC page). This will require some extra work on the underlying openreview code, and so won't happen quickly.
I wonder whether the publishers will get in on this act server side, as Pedro suggests, as this will allow them to control what blog posts are included.
BTW, is this blog included in chemical blogspace?
The script now defaults to a traditional block popup, although you can switch using the greasemonkey submenu.
Pedro, we have been talking to people from the ACS on this Greasemonkey script, so who knows what will happen in the next months...
Noel, yes, the blog is included, and thanx for the GUI option.
Perhaps you should update the link to the BO wiki?
